titleOfInvention Preparation of monolithic foam molding with skin
abstract PURPOSE:To prepare a molding having good appearance without staining a skin material with a foaming material, by pouring the foaming material in to an opening of the skin material formed by spreading parts of the skin material outside and clamping it between parts of molds. CONSTITUTION:Part 12a and 10b of a skin material 10 are opened and spread out and said part 10a and 10b are clamped between a circumferential face 13a of an part of a bottom force and a middle force 12b. Then, a foaming raw material such as a urethane foam raw material and so on is poured from an open part 10c of the skin material 10 into the skin material 10. The mold 12 is then closed by inserting a top force 12c in an open part 13b of the middle force 12b and foaming of the foaming raw material is carried out. After completing the foaming, a molding is taken out of the mold and the open part 10c is covered with skin material 10a and 10b around the open part 10c to obtain a headrest. Because the parts of the skin material 10 are clamped with the mold, the foaming raw material does not adhere on this part and the outer surface of the skin material 10 is not thereby stained with the foaming raw material.
