titleOfInvention Drug preparation for transcutaneous or transmucosal administration
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled drug preparation containing a drug component and a specific absorbefacient and especially having improved absorbability of said drug. n CONSTITUTION: A drug preparation for transcutaneous or transmucosal administration can be produced by using a drug component (e.g. non-steroidal anti- inflammatory agent, a steroidal anti-inflammatory agent, a vasodilator, an antiarrhythmic agent, hypotensor, etc.) and an absorbefacient for said drug component. The absorbefacient is a compound of formula (R is 5W17C aliphatic hydrocarbon group) (e.g. caproic acid, enanthic acid, caprylic acid, etc.). The drug preparation for transcutaneous administration is e.g. tape, patch, poultice, ointment, cream, etc., and the rug preparation for poultice, ointment, cream, etc., and the drug preparation for transmucosal administration is e.g. suppository, oral cavity agent, collunarium, eyedrop, etc. The tape or patch is composed of a substrate and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (pressure-sensitive adhesive of acrylic resin, rubber, silicone resin, etc.) containing the drug and the absorbefacient and attached to one surface of the substrate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
