abstract PURPOSE:To obtain good moldability for a sun visor as well as obtain sufficiently high adhesion between a pad and a surface material by a method in which a resin paint is applied on the split parts of both top and bottom forces, the top force is matched with the bottom force with a frame to form a given cavity, and an expandible resin is supplied into the cavity and expanded. CONSTITUTION:Two-split concave molds 3 and 4 are provided for forming a given cavity between the bottom force 1 and the top force 2. A urethane resin paint 11 is uniformly applied on the whole inner surfaces of the molds 3 and 4 by spraying. A supporting bar 10 is detachably provided to the fitting portion 9A of a frame 9, an expandible resin 12A, e.g., urethane, etc., is cast in an adequate amount, and the top force 2 and the bottom force 1 are clamped together. When the forces 1 and 2 are put in a heating furnace for an adequate period of time, the resin 12A is expanded fully in the cavity to form a cushion pat. The pat of the expanded structural resin with dense film contains the frame, having good jointedness.
