abstract | PURPOSE: To easily bring test paper for quantitative determination of protein in liquid into reaction with protein such as globulin by impregnating an acidic soln. of pyrogallol red molybdate with an absorptive carrier. n CONSTITUTION: Pyrogallol ammonium molybdate is added to the satd. soln. of sodium citrate. Filter paper is impregnated into such soln. and is cooled and dried. The filter paper prepd. in such a manner is red but turns red purple by reacting with the protein liquid when the paper is immersed into said liquid. The rate of occurrence of error is small as well. Since the test paper is brought into reaction with the protein in liquid by using such test paper, the globulin is detected and the accurate measurement is made possible by decreasing a pseudo-positive rate. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
