titleOfInvention Silver halide photographic sensitive material
abstract PURPOSE:To release timely a photographic reagent even when processing is carried out with a processing soln. of a low pH or under conditions during usual thermal development, by using a precursor of the photographic reagent having a photographically useful group protected with a bonded protective group having a specified structure. CONSTITUTION:This silver halide photographic sensitive material contains at least one kind of precursor of a photographic reagent represented by formula I. A concrete example of the precursor used is represented by formula I-1. The precursor is stably present under conditions during storage and releases the photographic reagent rapidly and efficiently at the necessary time during processing. Even when processing is carried out with a processing soln. of such a relatively low pH as 9-12 or by thermal development, the photographic reagent is timely released. Desensitization by the addition of the precursor is prevented and the function of the released photographic reagent can well be shown.
