Heat developable photosensitive material |
abstract |
PURPOSE:To obtain a heat developable photosensitive material having high sensitivity and small thermal fogging by incorporating a core/shell type photosensitive silver halide particles in which the silver iodide content in the front layer of the photosensitive silver halide particles having 4-4mol% silver iodide content is loser than the silver iodide content in the inside layer into said material. CONSTITUTION:The silver iodide content of the photosensitive silver halide particles is 4-40mol%, more preferably 4-20mol%. The thermal fogging is little but the photographic sensitivity is low if the silver iodide content is <4mol%. The thermal fogging increases if the content exceeds 40mol%. The photosensitive silver halide particles are the core/shell type photosensitive silver halide particles in which the silver iodide content in the front layer of the particles is lower than the silver iodide content in the inside layer. The preferable silver halide component includes silver iodobromide and silver chlorobromide. The heat developable photosensitive material having the high sensitivity and small thermal fogging is thus obtd. |
