titleOfInvention Dispersant for fine carbonaceous powder-water slury
abstract PURPOSE: To provide the titled dispersant capable of enhancing the fluidity of aqueous slurry of fine carbonaceous powder such as of coal or petroleum coke thus enabling higher concentration of the slurry to be accomplished, comprising specific aromatic hydrocarbon polymer containing sulfonic acid group and low-molecular weight sulfonic acid (salt). n CONSTITUTION: The objective dispersant comprising (A) (i) a polymer prepared by polymerization of a polymerizable aromatic sulfonic acid-based monomer group (and polymerizable hydrocarbon monomer group) and/or (ii) a second polymer prepared by sulfonation of a polymerizable hydrocarbon monomer group containing polymerizable aromatic monomer and (B) a low-molecular weight sulfonic acid (salt). n EFFECT: Capable of affording the slurry with excellent stability when left at rest. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
