abstract PURPOSE: To obtain a composition capable of forming a coating film having excellent rustproofing property and water-resistance when used as a coating agent for metal, by compounding an aqueous dispersion of a hydrazine- containing acrylic copolymer with an aqueous dispersion of a carbonyl-containing copolymer at a specific ratio. n CONSTITUTION: (A) An aqueous dispersion of an acrylic copolymer having ≥2 hydrazine residues is mixed with (B) an aqueous dispersion of a carbonyl- containing copolymer. The amount of the hydrazine residue of the acrylic copolymer of the component A is 0.05W5mol-equivalent per 1 equivalent of the carbonyl group of the copolymer of the component B.
