titleOfInvention Processing of silver halide color photographic sensitive material
abstract PURPOSE:To make possible to coexist the resource protection with the super sensitivity of the titled material by incorporating a silver iodide to a silver halide emulsion layer and, by incorporating a specific magenta coupler into a green color photosensitive emulsion layer, and by specifying a thickness of the constituting layer and the swelling rate of the film of a binder, and by processing the titled material with a bleach-fixing solution contg. the two valent iron complex of an organic acid. CONSTITUTION:At least one of the silver halide emulsion layer comprises >=0.5mol% a silver iodide. The green color photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer comprises a magenta coupler shown by formula I. The total thickness of the whole photographic constituting layer except a substrate is preferably <=20mum. The film swelling rate T1/2 of the binder contd. in the photogrpahic emulsion layer is the most preferable to be <=10sec. The titled material having the properties as mentioned above is exposed imagewise and then developed followed by treating it with the bleach-fixing solution contg. the two valent iron complex of the organic acid. A faulty recoloring of oa cyan coloring matter is improved remarkedly by using the magenta coupler having the 2 equivalents in which the consumed amount of the silver metal is an one half of the ordinally consumed amount of a silver metal theoretically whereby the silver amount contd. in the green color photosensitive silver halide emulsion layer may be reduced.
