titleOfInvention Flame-retardant resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a flame-retardant resin compsn. which has excellent heat resistance and does not cause blooming, consisting of a copolymer, a polyolefin polymer, a softener and a halogen-contg. flame retarder. n CONSTITUTION: At least 20pts.wt. softener (a) (e.g., paraffinic oil) is blended with 100pts.wt. of the combined quantity of 80W50pts.wt. A-B-A copolymer (b) (wherein A is a PS block having an average MW of 1,000W200,000; B is a polymer block obtd. by adding H 2 to an unsaturated part of polyisobutylene or polybutadiene having an average MW of 5,000W500,000) and 20W50wt% polyolefin polymer (c) (e.g., PE) to obtain a blend. 10W100pts.wt. halogen-contg. flame retarder (d) of formula IV obtd. by adding a halogenated bisphenol A or S of formula II or III (wherein m is 1W4) to a halogenated phenyl glycidyl ether of formula I (wherein X is halogen; n is 1W5) is blended with 100pts.wt. of said blend. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
