titleOfInvention | Medium for electrophoresis |
abstract | PURPOSE: To eliminate the spread of the migration image band width of a polyacrylamide gel film and the distortion of a separated image by incorporating a small amt. of glycerol into the aq. polyacrylamide gel medium for electrophoresis. n CONSTITUTION: A small amt. of the glycerol is incorporated into the electrophoretic body contg. the aq. polyacrylamide gel produced by the crosslinking polymn. of an acrylamide compd. and crosslinking agent in the presence of water and compd. having a carbamoyl group as a modifying agent. The content of the glycerol is preferably in a 0.1W1.0w/v% range by the volume of the gel medium. The spread of the migration image band in the high molecular weight part of the nucleic acid fragments of the aq. polyacryl amide gel film and the distortion of the separated image are thereby eliminated and the separating power is improved. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
