PURPOSE: To obtain the titled drug preparation having extremely retarded dissolution of the drug component in the stomach and releasing the drug continuously for a long period in the intestines, by coating a core granule containing a peripheral drug composed of a basic medicine with a layer composed of a dissolution- regulating substance and further coating with an enteric coating film. n CONSTITUTION: A core containing a basic medicine such as metoclopramide is coated with a film composed of a dissolution-regulating substance and then with a film composed of an enteric agent. The dissolution-regulating substance is an insoluble compound free from pH-dependency, e.g. dimethylaminoethyl methacrylate-methyl methacrylate copolymer, ethylcellulose, shellac, etc., and the enteric agent is e.g. hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose phthalate, carboxymethyl ethyl cellulose, etc. The coating of the core can be carried out by conventional process using a fluidized bed granulator. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
