abstract | PURPOSE: The titled binder providing moist pellets containing a specific CMC salt, having no reduction in quality in thawing, slightly being decayed, causing no pollution in a fishing ground, consisting of a raw feed and mush. n CONSTITUTION: A binder consisting of 0.3W10wt% (based on moist pellets) of Na, K or ammonium salt of CMC having ≥0.8 etherfication degree and ≥9,000 cps viscosity (Brookfield rotational viscometer, rotor No.4, numbers of revolutions of 30rpm, 25°C) and optionally sodium alginate, guar gum, etc., is blended with fish meal, vitamin, mineral, etc., to give mash. then, 1W2pts.wt. of the mash is sufficiently blended with 4W1pt.wt. minced raw feed of frozen fish obtained by grinding frozen fishes in a frozen state as it is into a proper size and granulated to give moist pellets having 15W30mm diameters. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
