abstract PURPOSE: The titled preventing agent, containing kojic acid or kojic acid included in cyclodextrin as an active constituent, used as an ointment or cosmetic and having very low toxicity and high safety for the skin. n CONSTITUTION: A preventing agent for skin elastosis containing kojic acid or kojic acid included in cyclodextrin as an active constituent in an amount of 0.1W5wt% (expressed in terms of the kojic acid). The preventing agent is capable of preventing the elastosis causing dissociation or breakage of collagen fiber bundles by increase in elastic fibers in the dermal upper layer.
