titleOfInvention | Adsorbent for nitrogen monoxide and separating and removing method |
abstract | PURPOSE: To concentrate and recover nitrogen monoxide to a high concn. by mixing a polystyrene resin of a porous type having an imino di-acetic acid residue and ferric salt in a solvent then removing the solvent therefrom, therebypreparing an adsorbent for nitrogen monoxide. n CONSTITUTION: This invention relates to a medicine to adsorb and desorb nitrogen monoxide from a gaseous mixture, in which the polystyrene resin of the porous type having the imino di-acetic acid residue and the ferric salt such as iron sulfate or iron chloride are stirred or shaken in the solvent such as methanol, water and thereafter the solvent is removed by a method such as filtration, vacuum distillation or the like. The mixture is thereafter dried under the reduced pressure and the adsorbent is obtd. as the integral substance. The resultant adsorbent separates and removes the nitrogen monoxide from the gaseous mixture technically, economically, easily and advantageously. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
