abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the titled compsn. which exhibits an excellent rust- inhibiting effect on the iron surface of a steel structure, consisting of portland cement, fine aggregate, a high-molecular resin emulsion and a nitrite salt. n CONSTITUTION: 10W40pts.wt. (on a solid basis; per 100pts.wt. component A) high-molecular acrylic or ethylene/vinyl acetate rsin emulsion (e.g. acrylic/styrene copolymer resin emulsion) and 1W4pts.wt. (per 100pts.wt. component A) nitrite (e.g. calcium nitrite) are added to a powder consisting of 40W60pts.wt. portland cement (A) and 60W40pts.wt. fine aggregate (B) (e.g. fine silica sand or Kansui stone powder) to obtain a rust-inhibiting coating compsn.
