titleOfInvention Composition of non-irritant remedy for dermatic mycosis and production thereof
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled remedy having higher remedying effect than conventional drug and high preservability, by adding boric acid to a mixture of ammonium thiosulfate, sodium thiosulfate anhydride or pentahydrate, potassium alum and acetic acid, and dissolving the mixture in water. n CONSTITUTION: For example, 40% ammonium thiosulfate, 54% sodium thiosulfate anhydride (Na 2 S 2 O 3 ) or 54% sodium thiosulfate pentahydrate (Na 2 S 2 O 3 .5H 2 O), 5% potassium alum [K 2 SO 4 .Al 2 (SO 4 ) 3 .24H 2 O or 12H 2 O] and 1% acetic acid are dissolved in 1l of water, and a small amount of boric acid is dissolved in the solution to obtain the objective agent. The aqueous solution is free from irritancy and ill odor, has quick action to suppress the itchiness, exhibits higher fungicidal activity than conventional drug and is useful as a remedy for dermatic mycosis. It has high preservability and is producible at a low cost. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
