abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled salt suitable as a dispersing agent for inorganic pigment and organic fine powder and giving a slurry having excellent stability to aging, by (co)polymerizing sulfonated aliphatic diene or said sulfonated compound and other sulfonated compound. n CONSTITUTION: The objective water-soluble (co)polymer salt can be produced by (1) polymerizing the sulfonated product of a 4W7C aliphatic diene (e.g. 1,3- pentadiene) or copolymerizing said sulfonated compound with the sulfonated product of a compound having tricyclodecane skeleton and/or tricyclodecene skeleton in the molecule (e.g. dicyclopentadiene) and (2) converting a part of the resultant (co)polymer to a salt. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
