abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition, obtained by incorporating a mixed aqueous solution of sodium carboxymethyl cellulose and methyl cellulose with a polyhydric alcohol, etc., and drying the resultant mixture in the form of a film and having improved flexibility and hot water dispersibility. n CONSTITUTION: A composition obtained by incorporating (A) 100pts.wt. total of mixed aqueous solution of (i) sodium carboxymethyl cellulose having average 0.6W2 hydroxyl groups substituted by carboxymethyl groups in three hydroxyl groups based on none anhydroglucose unit and (ii) methyl cellulose at 95:5W10:90 mixing weight ratio of the components (i) to (ii) in 2W10wt% concentration with (B) 0W60pts.wt. one or more polyhydric alcohols selected from glycerol, diglycerol and polyglycerol and/or 0W40pts.wt. acetylated fatty acid ester, forming the resultant mixture into a film form and drying the formed film. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
