titleOfInvention Phytotoxicity reducing agent for rice plant
abstract PURPOSE: An agent, capable of increasing the resistance of rice plants to a herbicide by absorbing a choline from the leaf surface, etc., on foliar application of an aqueous solution containing the choline to seedings of the rice plants before the transplanting and exhibiting effect on reduction or disappearance of phytotoxicity by the herbicide, etc. n CONSTITUTION: A phytotoxicity reducing agent containing one or two or more of choline or salt thereof, e.g. inorganic salt such as hydrochloride, phosphate, sulfate, nitrate, silicate or carbonate, organic salt such as acetate, citrate or lactate, or phosphorylcholine, phosphorylcholine chloride sodium salt and calcium salt, etc., as an active constituent. The above-mentioned constituent as an aqueous solution is irrigated in a part just close to the root part of seedlings of rice plants preferably till 10 days before the transplanting. n EFFECT: Capable of exhibiting particularly improved effect on amide based herbicides, e.g. butachlor, pletilachlor, etc., triazine based herbicide, e.g. simetryn, dimetrin, prometryn, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
