titleOfInvention Fire-resistant polyester conjugated yarn
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain yarn having permanent fire resistance and improved strength characteristics, by adding a specific amount of an inorganic boron compound to a core component of core-sheath type polyester conjugated yarn. n CONSTITUTION: 0.5W5.0mol% based on total acid components of a polyester constituting yarn of an inorganic boron compound is added to a core component of core-sheath type polyester conjugated yarn. Orthoboric acid, boron oxide (diboron trioxide, diboron dioxide, tetraboron trioxide, tetraboron pentoxide, boron monoxide, etc.,), metaboric acid, etc., may be cited as the inorganic boron compound. Preferably the sheath component contains a phosphorus compound, magnesium compound or an organosilicon compound. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
