titleOfInvention Production of electroconductive resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the title composition having a high strength and being low in a dispersion of electroconductivity, by dissolving a polyolefin in a solvent, mixing this solution with an electroconductive powder and a radical generator, crystallizing the polyolefin from the solution by the addition of a poor solvent therefor and subjecting the mixture to solid/liquid separation. n CONSTITUTION: A polyolefin (e.g., polyethylene) and an electroconductive powder (e.g., electroconductive carbon black) are mixed with a solvent in which the polyolefin is soluble (e.g., benzene). To this mixture, 0.0001W5pts.wt., per 100pts. wt. polyolefin, radical generator (e.g., dicumyl peroxide) is added and the generator is decomposed and reacted with the polyolefin. The polyolefin is crystallized by the addition of a poor solvent in which the polyolefin is insoluble (e.g., methyl alcohol), and the mixture is subjected to solid/liquid separation to obtain the purpose electroconductive composition comprising a mixture of the polyolefin and the electroconductive powder. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
