abstract |
PURPOSE: The titled film, obtained by incorporating specific amorphous fine particles with a polyester and having improved slipperiness and abrasion resis tance without coarse protrusions. n CONSTITUTION: A biaxially oriented polyester film obtained by incorporating 0.001W3wt% X-ray diffractometrically substantially amorphous fine particles, having 0.01W5μ average particle diameter and expressed by the formula xM.Al 2 O 3 .SiO 2 .zH 2 O (M is M'O and/or M"O; M' is alkali metal; M" is alkaline earth metal; x is 0.001W4; y is 1W20; z is 0.001W10) with a polyester. The above- mentioned polyester preferably contains ≥80mol% ethylene terephthalate or ethylene naphthalate in repeating structural units. The amorphous fine particles are zeolite and aluminosilicate prepared by eluting and removing alkali metal with an acid is used. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
