titleOfInvention | Manufacture of elastic roller |
abstract | PURPOSE: To manufacture easily a rubber roller with an integrated extreme outer bed made of fluororesin porous tube by injecting liquid elastomer having viscosity of under specific value between the core subject and the fluororesin porous tubes carrying diameters larger than the said core subject, and hardening the elastomer. n CONSTITUTION: The porous tube 3 made of silicon rubber or of urethane rubber 6 is preset inside the mold 5, and liquid rubber 6 is injected between the porous tube 3 and the core subject 1, heated and hardened, and taken out of the mold to form up an elastic roller consisting of the core subject 1, the rubber 2 and the extreme outer bed made of fluororesin porous tube 3. As the liquid rubber, rubber containing foaming agent is used, or rubber is foamed. Primer can be used to enhance adhesive power for adherring the rubber to the core subject. The fluororesin porous tube is adherred to the rubber by pushing some portion of rubber into the porous spaces. The viscosity of liquid elastomer is under 1,000,000 C.S. beyond which the injection molding cannot be achieved. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
