titleOfInvention | Production of maleimide resin varnish |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a heat-resistant maleimide resin varnish having improved curability and economic efficiency, by melting an aromatic diamine while heating, adding a bismaleimide thereto while keeping the suspended state and adding a cyclic ether after a specific end point of reaction. n CONSTITUTION: (A) An aromatic diamine, e.g. m-phenylenediamine, p- phenylenediamine, etc., is melted while heating and (B) a bismaleimide, e.g. N,N'-m-phenylenebismaleimide, etc., in an amount of 1.5W3mol based on 1mol component (A) is slowly added thereto while stirring and keeping the system in a suspended state. After completing the addition, the reaction is carried out until the above-mentioned reaction product resin does not become turbid even when cooled. (C) A cyclic ether, e.g. tetrahydrofuran, 2- methyltetrahydrofuran, etc., is then added to the reaction product resin to produce the aimed maleimide resin varnish. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
