abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain a resin compsn. having excellent thermal stability, jet- blackness and resistance to low-temperature impact and solvents, by blending a polycarbonate resin with a specified acrylate/butadiene graft copolymer. n CONSTITUTION: A resin compsn. is obtd. by blending 100pts.wt. polycarbonate resin (A) with 10W150pts.wt. polyester ether elastomer (B) obtd. by polycondensing a dicarboxylic acid (i) contg. not less than 70mol% of terephthalic acid, etc. with an alkylene glycol (ii) and a polyalkylene glycol (iii) having an average MW of 500W5,000 in such a proportion that the amount of the component (iii) accounts for 20W80wt% of the entire amount of the polyester ether elastomer and 1W80pts.wt. acrylate/butadiene graft copolymer (C) obtd. by polymerizing 20W100pts.wt. vinyl monomer (iv) such as acrylic acid, etc., and 0W5pts.wt. polyfunctional vinyl monomer (v) in the presence of 100pts.wt. copolymer (vi) composed of 55W95wt% acrylic ester and 45W5wt% butadiene. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
