titleOfInvention | Purification of allyl carboxylate |
abstract | PURPOSE: To obtain the titled substance with improved polymerization reactivity, by washing an allyl carboxylate with an alkaline aqueous solution in a specific concentration at a specified temperature or below. n CONSTITUTION: An allyl carboxylate, e.g. diallyl o-phthalate or diallyl maleate, is mixed and stirred with an alkaline aqueous solution, e.g. NaOH or ammonium sulfide, in 0.10W5.0wt%, preferably 0.5W3.0wt% concentration at ≤30°C and washed. The resultant mixture is then allowed to stand and separated into liquid layers to afford the purified product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
