PURPOSE:The titled composition useful as setting lotion, hair spray, styling agent, etc., using both a high polymer compound and a polysaccharide, having synergistic action of the components and improved set retention properties and providing the hair with a good feeling. CONSTITUTION:A hair cosmetic composition using both a high polymer compound (e.g. cationic high polymer compound such as cationic cellulose, etc., anionic high polymer compound such as ethyl acrylate-acrylic acid amide-acrylic acid copolymer, etc., ampholytic high polymer compound such as metacrylic acid ester copolymer, etc., and nonionic high polymer compound such as polyvinylpyrrolidone, etc.) and a polysaccharide (e.g. lipopolysaccharide which can be produced by a bacterium belonging to the genus Acinetobacter, etc.) in a weight ratio of preferably 1:0.02-2. |
