titleOfInvention Synthesized swelling silicate and its production
abstract PURPOSE: To produce synthesized swelling silicate having a structure similar to hectorite type smectites by treating the homogeneous mixed liquid of silicic acid, bivalent heavy metal salt and Mg salt satisfying the specified composition in the specified conditions. n CONSTITUTION: Homogeneous composite precipitate is prepared from both the homogeneous mixed liquid of silicate, bivalent heavy metal salt and Mg salt satisfying the composition shown in a formula and an alkali soln. After removing a by-produced solute, slarry obtained by adding Li ion of the amount satisfying the composition of the formula and if necessary, adding cations and fluorine ion is transferred into an autoclave. Then synthesized swelling silicate having a structure similar to hectorite type smectites shown in the formula is produced by performing hydrothermal reaction under the conditions of 100W350°C, drying and crushing the reaction product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
