abstract NEW MATERIAL:The alkylenediamine derivative of formula I [R 1 is 3W8C straight or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group, 5W8C cycloaliphatic hydrocarbon group, aryl, etc.; R 2 is 3W11C straight or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group, 3W11C aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing ester bond, 3W11C aliphatic hydrocarbon group containing ether bond, etc.; k is 1W4; p is 2W6; q is 4W7] or its salt. n EXAMPLE: 1-[3-[N,N-bis(3-methylbutyl)amino]propyl]piperidine. n USE: Useful as a glutamic acid blocker. It is used as a remedy for neuropathy caused by imbalance of nervous system or abnormal sthema of muscular pulse. It is useful also as an agricultural chemical since the compound suppresses the activity of insects. n PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced e.g. by reacting the carboxylic acid of formula II with the alkylenediamine compound of formula III and reducing the reaction product. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
