PURPOSE:A cosmetic which has high moisture retention, no greasiness, provides the skin and the hair with mild and good moisture and moisture retention, obtained by blending a cosmetic with chitosan oligosaccharide. CONSTITUTION:A cosmetic such as preferably toilet lotion, hair cream, lipstick, cream, hair dressing agent, etc., used for the skin or the hair is blended with usually 0.5-20wt% based on the cosmetic of chitosan oligosaccharide having especially 2-8 polymerization degree of D-glucosamine which is obtained by decomposing chitosan with chitosanase stable in pH 5-11, produced by a bacterium preferably belonging to the genus Bacillus, especially Bacillus No.7-M (FERM P-8139) to give a cosmetic which provides cosmetic with no greasiness, supplies the skin, the hair, etc., with mild and good moisture and moisture retention and can makes them soft and moist. |
