titleOfInvention Hair tonic cosmetic
abstract PURPOSE: To provide a hair-tonic cosmetic containing flunarizine hydrochloride, effective in continuously promoting the blood flow in scalp and having excellent hair-growing, falling-preventive and dandruff-preventive effects. n CONSTITUTION: The objective hair-tonic cosmetic having the above effects can be produced by compounding a hair-tonic cosmetic such as hair tonic, hair lotion, hair cream, etc., with 0.05W1.0wt%, preferably 0.1W0.7wt% (based on the whole cosmetic composition) (E)-1-([bis(p-fluorophenyl)methyl]-4-(3-phenyl-2- propenyl)-piperazine dihydrochloride (flunarizine hydrochloride) which is a vasodilating substance useful as a remedy for cerebral arteriosclerosis caused by cerebral blood flow disorder. The continuous blood flow promoting effect of the compound activates the hair-matrix cell to develop excellent hair growing effect and falling-preventive effect and normalizes the metabolic function in scalp to improve the dandruff-preventive effect. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
