abstract PURPOSE: To provide the title marking ink which gives handwriting having excellent erasability immediately after writing and after the lapse of a certain period of time under room-, high- or low-temperature conditions, containing a specified glycol ether ester as an additive. n CONSTITUTION: A 6W27C, pref. 9W18C fatty acid (a) (e.g., isooctylic acid) is reacted with a glycol ester (b) (e.g., pentaethylene glycol monoisooctyl) to obtain a glycol ether ester (D) of the formula (wherein X is a residue of the component (a); R 2 is a 1W12C alkyl or phenyl; R 3 is a 1W4C alkylene; and n is a number of 1W10). A resin (A) (e.g., a styrene/maleic acid copolymer) is blended with a pigment (B) which is an org. pigment having clear tone, high coloring power and a surface treated with said resin, 40W90wt% solvent (C) (e.g., C 2 H 5 OH), 1W20wt% component D as an additive and optionally, other additives (E). n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
