titleOfInvention | Production of 2-acetylthiophene derivative |
abstract | PURPOSE: To industrially and advantageously obtain the titled compound useful as an intermediate for thienylthiazolylthioaminoalcohol derivatives as a remedy of arrhythmia, heart diseases and hypertension, by hydrolyzing a 2-(α- alkoxyimino)ethylthiophene derivative. n CONSTITUTION: A 2-(α-alkoxyimino)ethylthiophene derivative expressed by formula I (R represents 1W4C alkyl; Z represents acetyl or carboxyl) [example; 2-(α- methoxyimino)ethylthiophene, etc.] is hydrolyzed by using an acid, etc., to obtain the aimed compound expressed by formula III. Both 5-acetyl-2-(α-alkoxyimino) ethylthiophene expressed by formula III corresponding to the starting material having acetyl group as the group Z in the formula I and 5-(α-alkoxyimino) ethyl-2-thiophene carboxylic acid expressed by formula IV corresponding to the starting material having carboxyl group as the group Z in the formula I are novel substances. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
