titleOfInvention | Sealer composition for inorganic porous substrate |
abstract | PURPOSE: To provide the title compsn. which has excellent safety and gives a coating film having excellent reinforcibility, durability, etc., containing a water-soluble resin obtd. by copolymerizing a monomer having a carboxyl group with a monomer having an epoxy group and other monomer in a specified weight ratio. n CONSTITUTION: 2W40wt% polymerizable monomer (A) having a carboxyl group (e.g., acrylic acid), 0.1W20wt% polymerizable monomer (B) having an epoxy group (e.g., glycidyl acrylate) and 40W97.9wt% other polymerizable monomer (C) (e.g., methyl acrylate) are used in such a proportion that the combined amount of the components A, B and C is 100wt% to copolymerize them. The resulting water-soluble resin is used as an essential ingredient and additives such as a pigment, a filler, etc. are added thereto to obtain the desired sealer compsn. for inorg. porous substrates. The compsn. is non-toxic, has no fear of catching a fire and penetrates well into substrates such as mortar, concrete, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
