titleOfInvention Rodenticide
abstract PURPOSE: A rodenticide which has high rodenticidal effects on rats having agent resistance, can maintain effective rodenticidal powder with low repellency, has low toxicity to men and animals and is effective for exterminating rats, containing an anticoagulant rodenticide, vitamin D and calcium. n CONSTITUTION: A coumarin rodenticide such as warfarin is blended with a food, a food additive, vitamin D such as one more or mixture of cholecaliciferol(vitamin D 3 ) or ergocalciferol(vitamin D 2 ) which is used as a drug and has rodenticidal power and calcium to give an active ingredient. The calcium promotes deposition of vitamin D on kidney, blood vessel, etc., when rats take a large amount of vitamin D, the rats have blood metabolism disorder and cause death by poisoning. The blending ratio of the agent in feed is 0.01W1.0wt% anticoagulant rodenticide, 0.001W3.0wt% vitamin D (400W120 unit) and 0.05W10.0wt% calcium and the feed is properly blended with them and used. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
