abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the titled body having excellent electrophotographic characteristics such as sensitivity and residual potential and less optical fatique and good durability, even if in case of a repetitive use by incorporating a specific enamine compd. to a photosensitive layer. CONSTITUTION:The titled body is composed of the photosensitive layer which contains at least one of the compd. shown by the formula and is mounted on a conductive substrate body. In the formula, R1 is a condensed polycyclic ring or a heterocyclic ring group and may be substd. individually, R2 is an alkyl, an aryl, an aralkyl, a condensed polycyclic ring, a heterocyclic ring group and may be substd. individually, R3 is hydrogen atom, an alkyl or an aralkyl group and an aryl, a condensed polycyclic ring or a heterocyclic ring group which may be substd. individually, R4 is an aryl, a condensed polycyclic ring or a heterocyclic ring group which may be substd. individually. The photosensitive layer having film thickness of 6-20mum is formed by coating a coating solution on the conductive substrate followed by drying it. The coating solution is produced by dissolving or dispersing the enamine compd. shown by formula together with a binder in a suitable solvent, if necessary, adding a photoconductive material and an electron attractive compd. or a sensitizing dye and another pigment.
