titleOfInvention | Production of fine powder of lead titanate zirconate-lead niobate manganate type |
abstract | PURPOSE: To produce the titled powder capable of providing a dense sintered material having pyroelectric properties by normal pressure sintering at relatively low temperature, by obtaining precipitate containing Pb, Zr, Ti, Mn and Nb by multi-stage wet method and calcining the precipitate. n CONSTITUTION: Precipitate containing 1W4 elements selected from Pb, Zr, Ti, Mn and Nb is formed from a solution containing the 1W4 elements and, in a state wherein the prepared precipitate is dispersed, precipitate containing a least one of the 4W1 elements among the 5 elements is formed from a solution containing at least 1 element among the remaining 4W1 element. The operation is carried out for necessary time to precipitate the total five elements. Then, the precipitate is calcined to give the titled fine powder having a composition shown by formula (0.01≤A≤0.3; 0.54≤x≤0.95; 0.25≤y≤0.55). The fine powder has small particle diameter and readily sintering properties and can produce a porcelain by sintering at relatively low temperature and at normal pressure. The prepared porcelain has improved pyroelectric properties and is useful as a piezoelectric material. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
