titleOfInvention Isophthalonitrile derivative
abstract NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula I (R is H or methyl; A is -OCH 2 CH 2 -, group of formula II, etc.; B is O or S; X is F or group of formula III; n is 0W4). n EXAMPLE: 5-Chloro-2-fluoro-4,6-bis(acryloyloxy)isophthalonitrile. n USE: A material for solventless radiation polymerization. It is useful also as a curable coating agent to effectively reduce the viscosity of a viscous radiation- curable resin. The composition curable by radiation is e.g. wood, paper, plastic, metal, electronic part, etc. n PREPARATION: The compound of formula I can be produced by reacting the compound of formula IV (n is 1W4) with 5-chloro-2,4,6-trifluoroisophthalonitrile in the absence of solvent or in a solvent (e.g acetonitrile) preferably in the presence of a base or a salt at 0W50°C. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
