abstract PURPOSE: To provide an extrusion molded article such as pipe, etc., having excellent appearance and obtained by the extrusion molding of an easily moldable composition produced by compounding a thermoplastic polyester resin with an inorganic filler having specific particle size and giving an extrusion-molded article having little die mark. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts.(wt.) of a thermoplastic polyester resin (preferably polyethylene terephthalate having an intrinsic viscosity of ≥0.65) is compounded with 0.01W2pts., preferably 0.05W1.5pts. of an inorganic filler (e.g. titanium oxide) having particle diameter of 0.05W10μm, preferably 0.08W3μm. A molded article produced by the extrusion molding of said composition has a surface roughness of 0.006W0.050μm in terms of Ra value and is applicable to the use requiring high surface accuracy, e.g. recording medium for information processing devices, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
