titleOfInvention Polyamide-imide resin composition
abstract PURPOSE: The titled composition suitable as coating compounds, etc., having improved balance of heat resistance, melt fluidity, mechanical characteristics, etc., obtained by blending two polyamide-imides having specific molecular weight obtained by using specific amounts of isophthalic acid and a lactam in a conventional amine method. n CONSTITUTION: (E) A polyamide-imide having 0.3W0.4 reduced viscosity and (F) a polyamide-imide having ≥0.45 reduced viscosity which are obtained by reacting (A) trimellitic anhydride (derivative) with (B) 4,4'- diaminodiphenylmethane, (C) isophthalic acid and (D) a lactam (e.g. ε- caprolactam) in a molar ratio of the component C/A+C of 0.03W0.25, in a molar ratio of the component D/A+C of 0.08W0.25 and in an equimolar ratio of the component B/A+C, preferably in a molar ratio of the component B/A+C of 1.02W0.98, in a molar ratio of the component C/A+C of 0.08W0.15 and in a molar ratio of the component D/A+C of 0.10W0.18 are blended in a weight ratio of the component E/F of 50/50W5/95. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
