abstract | PURPOSE:To increase the utilization of a positive electrode by using a positive electrode obtained by filling a positive active material in fiber spaces of activated carbon fiber fabric. CONSTITUTION:Activated carbon fiber fabric is punched in a disk, and titanium disulfide powder is filled in fiber spaces of the activated carbon fiber fabric by vibration. To prevent scatter of titanium disulfide powder, a small volume of 4-methyl-1,3-dioxolane is sprayed, and the disk filled with titanium disulfide is molded to prepare a positive electrode. A lithium-alminum alloy containing 50 atomic percent lithium is used in a negative electrode. Electrolyte prepared by dissolving 1.0 mol/l LiPF6 in a mixed solvent of 4-methyl-1,3dioxolane, 1,2-dimethoxyethane, and hexamethylphosphoric triamide whose mixing volume ratio is 60:35:5 is used. By using the positive electrode, the negative electrode, and the electrolyte, a secondary battery is manufactured. Thereby, the utilization of the positive electrode is increased and pulse charge-discharge performance are also improved. |
