titleOfInvention Catalyst for polymerization of olefin
abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled catalyst which is excellent in activity and can give a stereoregular polymer in good yield, by mixing a specified solid catalyst component with a piperidine derivative and an organoaluminum compound. n CONSTITUTION: A reaction product (a) is obtained by reacting 1mol of powdered metallic magnesium with at least two mol of an alkyl monohalide at 20°C or higher for at least 10min in the absence of any organic solvent in the presence of iodine. Separately, a phthalic diester is reacted with TiCl 4 in, optionally, a solvent to obtain a reaction product (b). Component (a) is copulverized with component (b) and the pulverizate is contacted with TiCl 4 to obtain a solid catalyst component (A). Component A is mixed with 1W1,000mol, per g. atom of Ti of component A, of an organoaluminum compound (B) and at most one mol, per mol of component B, of a disubstituted or tetrasubstituted piperidine derivative (C) of the formula [wherein R 1W4 are each H or a (substituted) alkyl, and at least either one of R 1W2 and at least either one of R 3W4 is alkyl]. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
