abstract PURPOSE: A one-pack type cream dyeing agent showing improved shelf stability and dyeability, obtained by blending a cream base such as liquid paraffin, n- paraffin, polyethylene, etc., with acid dye, oxidizing agent, anionic surface active agent and an affinity adjustor. n CONSTITUTION: A cream base (35W45wt% based on total amount) such as liquid paraffin-polyethylene blend, n-paraffin-polyethylene blend, etc., is blended with acid dye (e.g. 5-aminoorthocresol), an oxidizing agent (e.g. sodium percarbonate), an anionic surface active agent (e.g. di-2-ethylhexylsulfosuccinate), an affinity adjustor (e.g. carboxymethyl cellulose) of the cream base for hair, further an oxidation promoter (e.g. zinc flower or tannic acid) and a pH adjustor (e.g. anhydrous sodium carbonate) to give the titled dyeing agent. n EFFECT: Water absorption is completely cut off, shelf stability is improved and complexity in use is eliminated. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
