titleOfInvention | Production of lipase |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain lipase, having high hydrolysis ratio even at a high temperature and capable of hydrolyzing beef tallow and palm oil in a molten state, by cultivating a specific microorganism of the genus Pseudomonas. CONSTITUTION:Pseudomonas KSM-16 (FERM-P No.8538) which is a microorganism, belonging to the genus Pseudomonas and having the ability to produce lipase is cultivated to give the aimed lipase. The microorganism is collected from soil in HAGA District in TOCHIGI Prefecture. The properties of the lipase are as follows; Hydrolyzing >=90% palm oil or beef tallow by reacting at 60 deg.C for 24hr and selectively hydrolyzing various glycerides and esters, particularly saturated fats or oils. Stable pH; 3-12. Action optimum pH; 6-7.5. Action optimum temperature; 65-80 deg.C. Optimum temperature; 70 deg.C. Molecular weight, 29,000-30,000. Positive to sugar coloring by orcinol reaction. |
