PURPOSE: The titled preparation that is made by laminating a film containing drugs with another film containing a foaming agent and arranging outer films on both sides, thus suspending in the stomach after oral administration, to release the drugs gradually and keep the concentration enough to manifest remedial effect for hours. n CONSTITUTION: The outerlayer film consisting of cellulose lower alkyl ether (A), polyacrylic acid or its salt (B) and a plasticizer, the innerlayer film-I consisting of A or A and B, a plasticizer and drugs, the innerlayer film-II consisting of A, B and a foaming agent such as a carbonate or bicarbonate or a mixture thereof with an organic acid are laminated in the order of the outerlayer film, the innerlayer film-I, the innerlayer film-2 and the outerlayer film. A is hydroxypropylcellulose, preferably having 3W10,000cps viscosity at 20°C in 2% aqueous solution at a weight ratio of 10 A: (1W1,000) B. The amount of the foaming agent is 0.1W40pts.wt. per 10pts. of A and B mixture. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
