abstract PURPOSE: To obtain the titled article with both scratch and heat resistances, by simultaneous polymerization between a resin material, acrylic partially crosslinked gel polymer and a mixture containing (meth)acryloyloxy group-contg. crosslinkable polymer having each specific number of functional group and polymerization rate. n CONSTITUTION: The objective article can be obtained by polymerization through mutual contact between (A) a scratch-resistant layer-forming material comprising (i) crosslinking-polymerizable compound with the number of functional group x and polymerization rate y(%) satisfying both equations I and II, of a molecular weight ≥150, with two or more (meth)acryloyloxy groups per molecule or (ii) monomer mixture containing ≥30wt% of the component (i), or (iii) partially polymerized product from the component (ii) and (B) a forming base material consisting of an acrylic partially crosslinked gel polymer prepared by mixing (a) 100pts.wt. of resin material such as alkyl methacrylate monomer or a mixture of comonomer therewith or syrup containing its polymer and (b) 10W30pts. wt. of crosslinking-polymerizable compound having at least two (meth) acryloyloxy groups, carrying out partial polymerization in the presence of initiator followed by stopping the polymerization at a gel fraction 15W95%. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
