titleOfInvention Hair deformation treating agent
abstract PURPOSE: A hair deformation treating agent, containing a thioglyceryl alkyl ether or 1-phenyl-2-mercaptoethanol as a principal ingredient and having low irritancy and improved waving ability. n CONSTITUTION: A hair deformation treating agent containing a thioglyceryl alkyl ether expressed by formula I (R is 1W20C alkyl) or 1-phenyl-2- mercaptoethanol expressed by formula II as a principal ingredient. The above- mentioned compounds have high waving effect and safety with low irritancy. The above-mentioned hair deformation treating agent as the first solution of a two-bath cold permanent wave solution is dissolved in water to give 2W10% above-mentioned ingredient and adjusted to 7W9pH with a buffer agent for use or as a heating type one-bath permanent wave agent is dissolved in water to give 0.5W3.0% above-mentioned ingredient and adjusted to 7W9pH with a buffer agent for use. A peptide, etc., is preferably added to the above- mentioned treating agent for preventing hair damage, etc. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio
