titleOfInvention | Print protective member |
abstract | PURPOSE:To obtain a print protective member capable of lustering an image recorded by ink jet recording or the like and having excellent folding resistance, blocking resistance and excellent transferrability and adhesion to an image- recorded surface, by laminating a base with a transfer material comprising a specified butyral resin and a tackifier resin. CONSTITUTION:A base 101 is laminated with a transfer material 102 comprising a butyral resin having an average polymerization degree of 150-900 and a butyralation degree (mol% of butyral groups) of not less than 60 and a tackifier resin. The tackifier resin may be rosin, a rosin derivative, a terpene resin, a petroleum resin or the like, and is preferably added in an amount of 0.5-10% based on the amount of the butyral resin. The base 101 may be, for example, a material obtained by applying a releasing agent having a releasing function, such as a silicone resin, a polyester resin and a thermosetting resin to a surface of a paper, a cloth, a plastic film or the like, or a film which itself has a releasing function, such as a Mylar film and a polypropylene film. |
