PURPOSE: To obtain the titled compsn. having excellent compatibility, mechanical strength and high-temperature rigidity, by melt-kneading a specified compsn. with a polyolefin and a crosslinking olefin rubber in the presence of an org. peroxide. n CONSTITUTION: 100pts. (by weight; the same applies hereinbelow) mixture of 10W90pts. PP (A) which is a (co)copolymer of propylene and optionally, an α-olefin and 90W10pts. halogenated butyl rubber (B) having a halogen content of 0.5W4.0wt%, which is a halogenated isobutylene/isoprene copolymer rubber, is melt-kneaded with 10W120pts. olefin rubber (C) and 5W120pts. mineral oil softener (D) in the presence of a metal oxide and/or a metal chloride (E) at 160W250°C for 1W10min to obtain a compsn. 100pts. compsn. is melt-kneaded with 100W600pts. polyolefin (F) which is a (co)polymer of an α-olefin and 50W500pts. crosslinking olefin rubber (G) in the presence of an org. peroxide with heating. n COPYRIGHT: (C)1987,JPO&Japio |
